Senior Digital Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Digital Project Manager to lead our digital projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in website builds and maintenance, a deep technical understanding, and a keen awareness of compliance standards such as ADA and accessibility. The successful candidate will be process-oriented, with a track record of developing and optimising project workflows. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are crucial for effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership:

Lead end-to-end project management for digital initiatives, including website builds and ongoing maintenance.

  1. Provide strategic direction, set project goals, and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
  2. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  3. Know when to drive the team and when to provide support and encouragement.

Expertise:

Demonstrate a solid understanding of digital technologies and web development processes.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure the implementation of technically sound solutions.

  1. Accessibility:

Stay abreast of industry standards, especially ADA and accessibility requirements.

Ensure all digital projects comply with relevant regulations and accessibility guidelines.

Development:

Develop and refine project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Implement best practices for project planning, execution, and monitoring.

Management:

Manage project budgets effectively, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints without compromising quality.

Assurance (QA):

Ensure the implementation of QA processes and testing methodologies to deliver high-quality digital products.

Collaborate with QA teams to establish and maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for project updates, timelines, and issue resolution.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure project success.

Management:

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively.

Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to achieve successful outcome

Analysis and Insights

  • Utilise data analysis tools to measure the effectiveness of digital strategies.
  • Derive actionable insights from project performance data and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

Proven experience in digital project management with a focus on website builds and maintenance.

In-depth understanding of web technologies, development processes, and digital project life cycles.

Familiarity with ADA and accessibility standards.

Strong process orientation and experience in developing and optimising project workflows.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
