Why is this exciting for your career as a Process Design Lead?
The MBE Programme presents a huge opportunity for colleagues across the technology function to play a central role in the design, shape, delivery and execution of an enterprise-wide digital transformation programme. The complexity of the initiative, within a FTSE 250 business, will allow for large-scale problem solving, group wide impact assessment and supporting the delivery of an enablement project to future proof the business.
You will be responsible for leading the design, optimisation, and documentation of business processes within the IT Services function. The Process Design Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure processes are aligned with business objectives, IT service management standards, and industry best practices.

What you'll be doing:
  • Strong background in process design, continuous improvement, and a deep understanding of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks (e.g., ITIL). You will play a pivotal role in improving the efficiency, quality, and effectiveness of our IT services
  • Leading the design and documentation of end-to-end IT service processes, ensuring they align with business goals, service management best practices, and regulatory/compliance requirements
  • Working closely with the business you understand process requirements and ensure that process designs meet stakeholder needs
  • Ensuring all processes are properly documented, including process flows, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and work instructions
  • Defining and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for processes to assess efficiency, effectiveness, and overall service quality
  • Leading change management and training, you will ensure high adoption of new ways of working
  • Awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and process design methodologies to bring innovative ideas to process improvement

What we're looking for?
  • Strong experience in IT process design, improvement, or management, preferably within a large-scale enterprise IT environment. You will have proven experience in leading process design and optimization projects, with a focus on IT service management and operational efficiency
  • Familiar with industry frameworks and standards such as ITIL, COBIT, and other ITSM best practices
  • Experience in managing process changes, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training
  • Proven experience in process mapping and business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Bizagi, or similar tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, deliver presentations, and write clear documentation
  • ITIL Foundation (mandatory); ITIL Expert or Practitioner certification is a plus
  • Six Sigma or Lean certification, or equivalent process improvement methodology, is a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification is beneficial
