Security Specialist (6-Month Contract, 100% Remote - UK)

We are seeking an experienced Security Specialist for a 6-month contract role, working 100% remotely within the UK. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Azure Sentinel, Azure Defender, CheckOv, and Qualys and have strong expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Key qualifications include:

• Extensive experience implementing security in the SDLC (including SAST, SCA, and Container Security).
• In-depth understanding of vulnerabilities, classification, and evaluation within various environments.
• Proven ability to mitigate vulnerabilities and enforce best security practices.
• Skilled in identifying and addressing security weaknesses to enhance the overall security posture.
• Comprehensive experience in infrastructure security, network security, and application security.
• Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk assessment, and controls.
