Remote Home Based Linux Systems Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a remote home based Systems Administrator for a expanding business. 

Your main role will be to install, configure and maintain Linux systems including KVM Hypervisor configuration. You will manage virtual machines (under OCS and KVM Hypervisor, improve and modernise the estate as well as backup and recovery, security management and software updates.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Expert Linux systems administration skills
• Virtual Machine Hosts
• Ideally Redhat Certified (RHCSA / RHCE) however this is not essential
• Shell scripting
• Familiar with backup, disaster recovery, load / performance testing and server hardening
• Some Windows Operating System and Powershell scripting experience would also be highly desirable. 

The company is offering a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 plus benefits including company car / car allowance of £5150, 25 days holiday and bonus of up to £3500 per year.
