Data Analyst Apprentice Level 4

This is a hands-on role, working within our growing IT and Data Services team, where you will contribute to data collection and cleansing data from various sources, analysis, data visualisation, problem solving, providing support and training on data-related tasks and reporting to support various areas of the business.

Role

As a Level 4 Data Analyst apprentice with the UK’s leading fire and Carbon Monoxide protection company, you will be trained to play an active part in supporting the company’s data analysis and reporting needs.

  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of data dashboards and reports
  •  Conducting basic data analysis to identify trends and insights
  •  Ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Supporting the deployment and usage of data analysis tools and software
  • Documenting data processes and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency
  • Assisting with data-related queries and providing training to colleagues on data tools and best practices
  •  Collaborating with team members to support various data projects and initiatives

Desired experience

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office packages
  • Knowledge of data tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL
  • Familiarity with basic programming concepts and languages (e.g. SQL, Python) beneficial
  • 6+ months of experience working in an administrative or data role desirable

Training

Data Analyst  Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard:

The successful candidate will undertake an eighteen-month, nationally recognised qualification through TDM. This is a work-based learning programme which will require commitment to block weeks in an online training room once every quarter working towards the qualification along with weekly off-the-job training and monthly coaching sessions.

You will be required to demonstrate through the standard that you meet all competencies and behaviours, which will lead to the achievement of the qualification. These block weeks will take place online in TDM’s virtual learning platform.

You will have a designated mentor in the workplace to support your learning and at the end of the programme will be assessed via an external assessment body.

This is a Level 4 qualification.
