Business Analyst (Microsoft 365 & Higher Education Experience)

Location - London (Hybrid)

Duration - 6 months initially

Daily Rate - £550 a day

Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst with specialized experience in Microsoft 365 and ideally worked with in the higher education sector. The successful candidate will work closely with our academic and administrative teams to optimize our use of Microsoft 365 tools, streamline business processes, and enhance overall operational efficiency within the higher education environment.

Key Responsibilities -

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the higher education context.
• Leverage Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power BI) to develop and implement solutions that meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff.
• Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and deliver training programs and materials for end-users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of Microsoft 365 tools.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure that all solutions comply with institutional policies, as well as data protection and security standards.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the higher education sector.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power BI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
