Business Data Analyst
Contract Length: 6 months initially
Daily Rate: £250 - £300 (inside IR35 via umbrella)
Location: Belfast (3 days onsite and 2 days remote)

As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to drive informed decision-making across various departments within the organisation. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights that will guide strategic and operational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Gathering and analysing large sets of data, identifying patterns, and drawing meaningful conclusions.
Developing and maintaining analytics models and algorithms to improve data accuracy and reliability.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement data-driven solutions.
Creating data visualisations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Conducting ad-hoc analyses to support business forecasting, performance measurement, and optimisation efforts.
Identifying data quality issues and implementing data governance best practises.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools
Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data modelling techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Proven ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
Experience working in [Insert Industry] or a similar sector preferred.
A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science is highly desirable.
