Senior IT Engineer | Fyfield, Oxfordshire | Full Time | £46,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) | Business/performance related bonus

You will play a crucial role in implementing and managing new projects and installations, providing on-site end-user support, and maintaining existing infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include problem analysis, documentation, and ensuring configurations are up to the highest standards.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • 4-5 years in a similar role
  • Proven ability to form lasting customer relationships
  • Expertise in remote and on-site support

Technical skills should include:

  • Windows/Microsoft Focus: Azure, Office 365, Intune, Serverless deployments
  • Cisco Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Cisco routers and switches
  • Networking: TCP/IP connectivity and IT security expertise
  • Windows Server Administration: 2016, 2019, and Server 2022
  • Virtualisation: Windows Hyper-V
  • Active Directory/Azure AD Administration: Including Group Policy configuration
  • Device Support: Windows 10/11 and Apple devices, experience with Intune, Apple, and Meraki MDM
  • Firewall configuration (Fortinet/Sophos)
  • Backup Technologies and Disaster Recovery
  • Microsoft SQL Server: Experience advantageous
  • High-Level Communication Skills: Both written and verbal
