Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled 2 Citrix Testers to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in testing and validating existing Citrix environments built by our incumbent team. This position requires a deep understanding of Citrix technologies and the ability to ensure robust and reliable environment setups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test and validate Citrix environments to ensure they meet the required standards and performance benchmarks.
• Collaborate with the incumbent team to understand the existing environment setups and configurations.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues within the Citrix environments, providing solutions and improvements as necessary.
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to rigorously test the functionality and performance of the Citrix environments.
• Document test results, issues, and improvements, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations for optimizing and enhancing Citrix environments.
• Ensure that all environments adhere to best practices and security standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• SFIA Level 4/5 or equivalent experience in Citrix development and environment testing.
• Proven experience in working with Citrix technologies, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and protocols.
• Experience in developing and executing test plans and scripts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively document and communicate technical findings.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as needed.
• Familiarity with best practices in environment testing and validation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Citrix Cloud services.
• Knowledge of networking and storage solutions related to Citrix environments.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages for testing purposes.
• Experience in working within agile project environments.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant Citrix certifications (e.g., Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V), Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization (CCE-V) are highly desirable.
