We are recruiting for a PHP Developer for a leading global company specializing in assistive technology solutions for visually impaired and dyslexic individuals. With a strong presence in over forty countries, this organisation is renowned for providing innovative tools that make a real difference in people's lives. They are now looking for a talented PHP Developer to join their team and work on maintaining and improving their customer-facing website, web-based applications, and internal tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance various web-based platforms, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Design, develop, and test software based on user requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver web solutions in line with accessibility standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of one year's experience in web development.
• Strong proficiency in Apache (Linux), PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with Linux as a web server.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of Accessibility (W3C-WCAG) standards.
• Familiarity with tools and frameworks like Bootstrap, Bash (Linux), VueJS, Node.js, Symfony, and NPM package manager.
• Exposure to Internet Security, GDPR, GIT source control, and Search Engine Optimisation.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Software Engineering, Website Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
