Lead Java Developer

Technical Lead - up to £90,000 Location: London area - Hybrid role - couple of days per month on-site
 
My client are a well-established and one of the most famous UK brands.
 
They are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join their Development team. Day to day: In this role you will be adding features to their e-commerce websites and lead/shape new software projects. This is a technical role that includes mentoring of junior engineers but you have the chance to become a people manager if that is what you are aiming for.

Key Experience needed:

• Java or Kotlin
• Cloud platforms - GCP, AWS or Azure
• Microservices architecture
• Agile methods - Scrum or Kanban 
• TDD & Pair programming
• CI/CD 
• Docker & Kubernetes
