Senior DevOps Engineer - Middlesex (Hybrid) - £75k 

Avanti Recruitment is working with a Global Logistics company based in Middlesex who are looking to add a Senior DevOps Engineer to their team with strong skills on the Azure platform. 

They have created their DevOps approach which is now in production but are looking to bring in expertise to continue the process of optimisation and building out their automation tooling and processes alongside their Systems Manager.   They are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who can work as part of a small DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure team of 2 and in collaboration with their .NET Software Developers.  
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale, complex distributed software platforms with the opportunity to work on greenfield projects along with huge training and progression plans. 

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, they are looking for you to bring new ideas and influence their approach.   You will be involved in the design and delivery of CI/CD pipelines, continue to build our their containerised approach with Kubernetes, and automate the provisioning of infrastructure using Terraform.  You will collaborate with the Software Development team to set standards and best practice, design and develop observability tools, monitor and optimise the performance of applications running on the platform. 

To be considered for interview you are likely to have 3+ years of experience in most of the following:

• Azure Cloud platforms - Experience of deploying, monitoring, scaling and maintaining cloud infrastructure
• Containerisation with Kubernetes orchestration
• CI/CD pipelines 
• Configuration management - Ansible
• Observability, Monitoring and alerting tools
• Being able to work independently and as part of a small team with great communication skills.

Salary:  Up to £75,000 + benefits + 12% pension, private healthcare (AXA), 09:00-17:30 with flexible working hours, hybrid working and 25 days holiday.
Location: Hybrid working - Remote + 2 days a week in the Middlesex office
