Job Title: Project Controller

Salary: £41,361 + depending on experience

What you'll be doing:

• You will check bookings weekly to ensure any erroneous bookings are rectified through maintenance of cost collectors

• You will manage cost tracking and analysis within Project Management Files

• You will support the monthly project reporting cycle

• Update Schedules on a monthly basis

• You will support Quarterly financial business reporting

• Develop a knowledge of Business processes and procedures

• And you will attend on the job training as appropriate

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Experience with Project Controls processes

• An experienced user of Microsoft office, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project

• Excellent written and verbal communication with experience managing stakeholders of all levels

• Good organisational skills and good attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience working within a defence organisation

The Micro and Nano Systems team:

The Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS) organisation currently comprises of the Micro and Nano Systems (M&NS) operational group based in Filton, Bristol and the Microwave Materials (MM) business, based in Towcester, Northamptonshire. The role is based out of Filton.

The Project Controller is required to provide end-to-end project control activities for all assigned projects in the ATS organisation. This encompasses generation of vital project information including tracking of costs, generation of estimates, planning of project schedules and routine ERP activities.
