The EPR Team is excited to announce an amazing opportunity for six people to join us as our EPR Testing Analysts on secondment or fixed term contract until the end of May 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity right at the heart of the programme to implement the Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium EPR on a shared domain with Barts Health.

As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for the preparation of Test Plans and Test Scripts, executing tests aligned with both traditional and agile software development frameworks.

Experience working in a controlled project environment utilising standard test, defect, and release management disciplines is essential. Experience with test automation and clinical applications/devices is also desirable.

We would welcome informal enquiries in advance, and ask all internal BHRUT staff to discuss any secondment opportunities with their existing line manager before applying.

Main duties of the job

BHRUT is working in collaboration with Barts Health NHS Trust to implement a new cross care setting, real time, patient centric Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system that will improve the quality and delivery of care to the patient. The new system Oracle Health Millennium will be implemented as a domain extension from Barts Health to BHRUT.

EPR Testing Analyst is an important role, providing analysis, advise and guidance to the EPR Testing Manager in defining quality assurance standards and providing specialist testing input. This is a hands-on role and will include coordinating and supporting a wide range of testing activities. This will include supporting review of guidance, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, problem resolution and delivery of testing services for clinical and non-clinical applications.

The post holder will support the EPR Testing Manager with all essential testing and assurance related activities for clinical and non-clinical applications.
