Junior Business Systems/Data Analyst | Cambridge | Full time, Permanent | 37.5 hours per week | 9am-5pm Monday-Friday with 30minute unpaid lunch break | £23,000-£26,000 + participation in employee profit share

Our client has gone from humble beginnings in 1985, and they have grown and developed into the market leading brand management and distribution business they are today. The company focus solely on premium brands within the small domestic appliance, air treatment and floorcare categories.

As a Junior Business Systems and Data Analyst to help maintain and enhance our client’s reporting systems and tools.

Our client is looking for someone who is:

  • Empathetic to User Needs: Understanding and responsive to the needs of your colleagues and clients

  • Forensically Minded: Capable of triaging problems to deliver efficient short and long-term solutions
  • Detail-Oriented: Recognises the importance of change management and thorough documentation

Essential Skills:

  • Knowledge of scripting and reporting with at least one of the following:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Power-automate/Powerscript/VBA Script
  • Microsoft PowerBI

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with large organisations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications, and desktop computers
  • Basic knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and other web scripting technologies
  • Experience with CMS, marketplaces, and shopping cart technologies like WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, and Amazon Seller Central
  • Experience supporting an ERP/OMS/WMS
  • Exposure to DevOps practices

What will your role look like?

As a Junior Business Systems and Data Analyst, you will:

  • Maintain The Company Reporting Data: Aggregate data from multiple on and offline sources into comprehensive tables
  • Produce Scheduled Reports: Create regular reports for suppliers and colleagues, and complete product compliance reports for our parent organisation
  • Support Teams: Assist all teams in maintaining and developing reports and reporting tools
  • Provide IT Support: Offer first-line support for desktop computers and office software queries, and liaise with the central IT Helpdesk when necessary
  • Enhance Online Presence: Support the maintenance and development of our client’s e-commerce and corporate websites

Interview process

A short first interview to meet and discuss the role (may be remote if convenient) followed by a GIA and PIP assessment (completed by website link).

A more detailed second stage interview with including senior management (must be in person at the office in Swavesey).
