ICT Support Technician Apprentice

As an ICT Technician apprentice, you’ll be learning how to provide top class ICT support, all whilst demonstrating awesome customer service to colleagues who use the ICT systems and services here at Beyond Housing.

Role

This is a great opportunity to experience a variety of ICT aspects within many business settings - you’ll be getting involved in all sorts of tasks such as:

  • Responding to ICT incidents, problems and service requests
  • Taking calls, logging ICT support requests and providing resolutions
  • Carrying out day-to-day maintenance of our core systems
  • Developing appropriate guidance notes and user manuals
  • Assisting with ICT and Business Systems Development projects
  • Attending meetings and collaborating with colleagues across the organisation
  • Assisting with providing a customer focused ICT service to all users
  • Assisting with day-to-day work of the ICT and Business Systems Development teams

You’ll also be receiving and processing information about these tasks, speaking to colleagues directly in-person or on the telephone and, using information systems while respecting and maintaining colleague confidentiality at all times.

You’re going to get an incredible all-round ICT experience in this team, and they will have your back every step of the way.

Training

You will complete a Level 3 Information communications technician apprenticeship standard which includes an end point assessment.

Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date.

Once qualified we have a range of opportunities within the ICT team that you can progress your future career.
