E-Rostering Facilitator

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an E-Rostering Facilitator to join the Workforce Deployment Team to support the strategic E-Rostering agenda.

Your role will involve being a key contact with the Divisional Teams in terms of providing systems expertise to influence positive change to ensure successful implementation of new rosters and the improvement of existing rosters working with a variety of multi-disciplinary teams.

We are looking for an experienced candidate in E-rostering solutions who will work as part of a team to embed efficient and effective Rostering practices, offer expert advice to our end users, deliver systems training and support ongoing projects. The Trust is committed to supporting managers and staff to plan for optimal staffing levels across all staff groups through the utilisation of electronic rostering systems. This position requires significant experience of working with the Optima (formerly Healthroster) suite of systems (EOL/Healthroster/Safecare) and strong customer service skills with experience of providing advisory support on the use of these systems.

Main duties of the job

  1. To assist the ERostering Operational Manager in all aspects of systems rollout throughout the Trust to gain full benefits realisation of Optima.
  2. Support the Divisions daily with rostering requirements and systems build queries maximising rostering practices and providing expert knowledge to end users.
  3. Assist in planning, producing and developing a range of learning sessions/resources to support the delivery of identified learning objectives, including training plans and user manuals.
  4. Deliver an ongoing program of training sessions for new and existing users across the full suite of Optima packages.
  5. Train managers on creation and ongoing management of rosters to support financial decision making. Advise on configuration of working patterns and links to Flexible Working.
  6. Maintain the configuration of the system working collaboratively with Divisions, Payroll and Finance colleagues.
  7. Propose system enhancements with RL Datix (software supplier) and support roll out of new functionality as it becomes available.
  8. Rollout new functionality as its deployed and support educate our end users
