Parts Advisor Apprenticeship - Ipswich

In partnership with Skillnet, Kia has developed a bespoke apprenticeship programme that focuses on education in electrification. As a Parts Apprentice, you will obtain the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to not only become an expert Kia Parts Advisor but also ensure you have a successful career with Kia whilst maximising personal growth.

Role

Duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Customer contact and experience
  • Taking customer bookings and scheduling services and repairs
  • Communicating the customers work and faults to the vehicle technicians
  • Handling customer complaints
  • Advice and guidance for vehicle care and warranty retention and warranty claims
  • Taking orders from customers both face to face and over the phone
  • Maintaining an ordered stock room and finding parts from stock

Training

  • Level 3 Customer service specialist Apprenticeship Standard qualification
  • Apprentices will be working and will be trained within the dealership and a skills coach will visit at least every 28 days as part of a close support network to ensure that apprentices are both enjoying and succeeding in their course
  • Online training will also be provided throughout the course
  • Apprentices without Level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level and take the test for Level 2 English and maths prior to taking the end-point assessment

A full-time career within the automotive industry with many opportunities to progress to positions of authority within the dealership
Future prospects are endless by having a highly regarded set of skills, apprentices can go on to develop their career within any other areas of commerce they may be interested in.
