Business Admin Apprentice (Planning)
Role
- Download job specific information from client reporting system onto an internal database ready
- Conduct geographical, network and financial validation on all incoming works prior to programming for survey, using results to form a pre-survey pack suitable for a field surveyor
- Communicate with managing agents/site contacts to retrieve health and safety documents and book in appointment for survey
- Maintain tracking for consumable products used within the Community Fibre workstream
- Collate test results for those working in the Community Fibre workstream
- Complete various documents
- Ensure surveyor calendar is programmed efficiently to suit targets
- Provide first line support for access, revisits and asbestos related queries for surveyors and planners
- Manage tasks against set targets and flag any risk of failure in a constructive and timely manner
- Support department administrators with ad-hoc tasks when required
Training
You will be working towards your Level 3 Business Administrator qualification (an industry recognised Qualification) which is delivered via monthly 2–3-hour lessons with your assigned Trainer Assessor (TA) via teams. Throughout the month, you will complete self-led study which will include assignments, worksheets, projects, etc. and blended learning and development activities/training with your manager and shadowing team members. All learning will be completed in your workplace and during your working hours. Units that you will be studying include personal development, the organisation & policies, legislation & regulation, role fundamentals, stakeholders, and business fundamentals & processes.
