About us

CHFT has 2 main sites, Ophthalmology being based in Acre Mills Out-patients, Huddersfield and Calderdale Royal Hospital, Halifax. Community clinic sites include Westwood Park (Bradford) and Todmorden (Halifax) that provide selected sub-specialties.

The role also allows a great opportunity for someone to work alongside our local CCGs and local Optical Committee to support the development of Glaucoma practice within the department and community.

The Trust is currently one of the most digitised NHS Trusts in the country having moved to Cerner Millennium Electronic Patient Records (EPR) in 2017.
