Our client, a leading organisation in the region, is looking for a talented Solution Architect to join their dynamic team. Demonstrating a strong commitment to leveraging technology for optimal performance, they are embarking on an ambitious initiative to invest in their technology infrastructure.

Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

You will have a strong command of Azure cloud technologies from both a hardware (provisioning) and software (consumption) angles. The role requires demonstrable experience in architectural design and implementation.

• Architecture Models: Proficiency in using structured Architecture Models, such as TOGAF.
• Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure services and tools, including Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Bot Service.
• Cloud Management: Familiarity with key Cloud Management Principles and Tools.
• Core Cloud Platform Knowledge: Detailed architectural understanding in areas such as:
  • Cloud Compute, Virtualization, and Elastic Computing
  • Cloud Storage (Object/Blob, Block & File)
  • Machine Learning & AI
  • Virtual Networking (VNETs, VPCs, ExpressRoute Direct, Connect, etc.)
  • Availability Zones
  • Scaling strategies (Scale-up vs. Scale-out)
  • Scripting and Automation, with tools like Ansible and DevOps practices
  • Cloud Services: Experience with IaaS (including networking, monitoring, and data recovery aspects), PaaS/Serverless Computing, and SaaS.
  • Cloud Architectures: Proven experience working with Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud Architectures.
  • Certifications: Must hold a Cloud Architecture Certification.

Desirable:

• Experience across multiple cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is essential. Ideally, you will also have experience in integrating these platforms across Public and Private cloud environments.
• AI and Data Engineering: In-depth understanding of AI algorithms, data engineering, and the Azure cloud computing platform.
• Network and Security: Experience in Cloud Network Design and understanding of Cloud Security Principles & Cloud Adoption Frameworks.
• SASE Architecture: Familiarity with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) Architecture.
• Understanding of the Utilities environment
