SAP S/4 HANA Project Manager – 6 Month Contract – £500 Per day - Outside IR35

Chapman Tate Associates are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP S/4 HANA Project Manager to lead the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA solutions, with a specific focus on SAP Public Cloud. This is a contract position, ideal for a professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is adept at managing complex full life cycle ERP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Oversee all project phases including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction, support, and motivation. Ensure team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders and executive management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements. Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices and SAP advancements, particularly in SAP Public Cloud, to continually improve project delivery processes.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing SAP projects.
  • Proven experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementations.
  • Specific experience with SAP Public Cloud is required.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA architecture and modules.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Certifications: SAP certification, PMP, or other relevant project management certifications are advantageous.
