Junior IT Support Engineer

A leading financial institution, based in Canary Wharf are looking to hire a Junior IT Helpdesk/Support Engineer, working as part of the London IT Team.  They are looking for an Engineer who has the ability to troubleshoot 2nd line issues with some of the following experience:

- Basic networking
- Desktop and Laptop Hardware Support
- Windows 10, MS Office 2007/2010
- Android & I 0/S
- Software applications
- Printer/Fax Support
- Trading floor and user interface experience

You will be required to deal with problems face-to-face, in a professional and timely manner, working in a high-pressured environment.  Delivering a client-focused service through ad-hoc trouble shooting and problem solving for the end user.  Experience of Bloomberg would be beneficial but not essential.

A normal day at the office for the IT Support Engineer consists of attending to users' technical issues, installing new pcs/printers, configuring mobile devices, inventory maintenance, etc. Providing support of the Microsoft environment - Windows 10/MS Office, Teleworking systems and 3rd party apps and trading systems.

Ideally they are looking for someone that is able to start immediately.  This will be office based, Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend as and when.
