Job Description Are you ready to solve problems that matter?
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to drive significant improvements in project management practices. This role involves working closely with clients on-site in Hereford to guide and support their transition to cloud-based solutions and modernization of IT infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing IT systems aligned with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement industry-standard practices in task tracking, asset tracking, license management, and risk/issue management.
  • Assess project management practices and recommend improvements.
  • Identify client IT requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Provide project progress updates to senior management.
  • Manage the seamless migration of IT systems to cloud platforms.
  • Coordinate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for IT systems.
  • Monitor and adjust project progress to ensure success.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role, preferably in a regulated environment or GovTech.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems design and cloud computing technologies.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to work effectively in a customer-facing role and build strong client relationships.
  • Seamlessly integrate with existing teams and third-party providers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

This role will be based on the customer site in Hereford with occasional travel to the head office in Bristol and remote work flexibility. SC essential / DV preferred. If SC, willingness to go through the DV process is ideal.
