About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Data Test Automation Technical Lead to join our team in Central London. This role requires a strong background in data testing and automation frameworks, with 10–12 years of overall experience and at least 6–8 years in data testing. You’ll lead, build, and guide data testing processes and frameworks from scratch, bringing in-depth expertise in data technologies and testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data testing frameworks from the ground up, focusing on automation, scalability, and quality.
• Provide technical guidance to team members in data testing techniques and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on data testing strategies and technologies.

Technical Expertise Required:

• Data Testing: Proven expertise in data validation for accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
• JMeter: Experience in API testing using JMeter (Load and Performance testing experience not required).
• PySpark: Skilled in scripting for data processing using PySpark.
• Data Lakes: Hands-on experience with data lake environments.
• Kafka and StreamSets: Familiarity with Kafka StreamSets for data streaming and ingestion.
• AWS Cloud: Proficiency in AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Groovy: Experience with Groovy scripting to enhance automation capabilities.

Qualifications:

• 10-12 years of overall experience, with 6-8 years in relevant data testing roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to process improvement.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, capable of leading a team and influencing stakeholders.
