IT Support Technician Apprentice

PETA are proud to be working with DD Scientific, to support them with the recruitment and training of an IT Support Apprentice.
Role
Joining the team as an IT Apprentice, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Provide technical support for all IT systems at DD-Scientific; manage IT support calls, troubleshoot issues, solve IT related problems
- Manage IT equipment, initial set-up, maintenance, install updates
- Manage company mobile devices (iPads, phones), set up new devices
- Manage WiFi, cloud based storage and VoIP telephony system
- Support development of ConnecteDD, internal and external database system, develop new GUIs
- Develop and maintain IT process documents ensuring compliance to company standards
- In future, develop LabView based test equipment and software
Training
As an IT Support/ System Development Apprentice, you will be studying towards a level three ICT Support Technician apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is 22 months in length and will involve ongoing onsite training and mentoring from the team at DD Scientific combined with 25 days of off the job training at the PETA training centre in Cosham.
An opportunity to stay on as a permanent member of staff if successfully completes apprenticeship.
