Global Training Manager - 12-month contract - £600-£825 per day (Inside IR35) - hybrid, location is flexible
Context
My client has embarked on an exciting and significant business transformation programme underpinned by SAP S/4 HANA. Through this programme, they aim to drive process, system and data standardisation and simplification. This is a global programme and will be delivered in waves over a multi-year period.
The Change Management team is a critical enabler of the programme. My client is seeking a Global Training Manager to join the Change Management team, an individual who has proven experience in planning and delivering comprehensive, multi-format training to business teams to enable the transition to and adoption of new processes, systems, data, behaviours and ways of working.
Key Accountabilities
- Shapes the Group Reporting training vision, strategy and plan and coordination of all activities with the company and third-party service providers as well as regional and local teams. Aligns with wider S/4 HANA training strategy & plan.
- Leverage and adapt the existing framework to provide effective reporting on the progress of Training activities, covering but not limited to progress reporting, risks & issues management and business readiness, operating to the project's governance standards.
- Deliver a blended training curriculum, in partnership with the Learning & Development team, for deployment on the company's Learning Hub, designed with business-communities and personas at its heart. With a continuous improvement mindset, pro-actively seek opportunities to adapt and adjust in flight.
- Owns & leads process to ensure users are correctly mapped to Training courses.
- Supports Change & Deployment teams including the Change Network to understand training activities and successfully deliver training outcomes.
- Leverage and adapt the governance process for quality assurance of training outcomes including as appropriate mandatory training attendance and ensure outputs meet agreed standards.
- Manage technical tools and training environments to meet delivery timelines.
- Collaborate and align with the Change Management and Communications Team to incorporate key messages on behavioural / cultural changes into learning content in addition to process and functional.
- Collaborate / support the Global Change Lead & Programme Leadership Team in performing various activities and producing deliverables for the programme.
Qualifications and experience required
- Degree educated in relevant business or subject.
- 10+ years' experience in leading & executing training on global transformational projects, ideally SAP / IT-enabled.
- Track record of working with or managing third-party providers to steer, input and collaborate to achieve project goals as one team.
- Excellent skills in programme training strategy and curriculum design as well as user population identification.
- Experience in translation and managing learning content localisation process.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills and ability to effectively target and tailor the message and medium to various audience groups to achieve intended outcomes.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and ability to meet agreed project milestones.
- Proficient in using a variety of tools (Microsoft suite and other specialists such as SAP Enable, Captivate, Camtasia) to develop training template and content.
- Experience of LMS systems for deployment, management and tracking.
