SC Clearable Senior Pega Systems Developer - 9 months - primarily remote working with approximately 2 days a month in office - £(Apply online only) per day OUTSIDE IR35
An opportunity to work as a Senior Pega Systems Developer for a small boutique consultancy that operate in the Defence sector.
They are looking to recruit experienced Senior Pega Developers to join them on fast moving, innovative and influential work that is underway in the Defence and Security Sector. Due to the nature of the work you will need to be a SOLE UK National.
Main responsibilities
Design, development and maintenance of Pega-based platforms and applications including process/data architecture and relevant frameworks to ensure effective adherence to functional and non-functional requirements.
Run and provide technical leadership for smaller streams within projects utilizing the Pega technology,
Operate within and suggest best practices/patterns applicable to the technology and domain,
Provide platform expertise as guidance to client-side delivery stakeholders,
Liaise with other stakeholders within project teams, such as the client and other delivery-focused roles, to best achieve success,
Provide coaching to more junior members of the team.
Support successful outcomes:
Meet customers' needs from the outset and through continuous engagement, within company processes, standards, and policies and under minimal guidance.
Within role, support delivery of products responsively, flexibly, and efficiently.
Help ensure projects are delivered to quality, time, and budget, as reasonably achievable.
Remain transparent in adherence to methodology and approach.
This will include:
Understanding, at an appropriate level, the relevant technology and security characteristics and solution options.
Developing an understanding of customers' operational and business environments.
Supporting the design and delivery of innovative, secure solutions.
Assisting with initial project design, pricing and resourcing, if called upon to do so.
Help ensure that projects are delivered using the appropriate methodology as outlined by processes, standards, and patterns.
Where required, reporting into delivery team leadership in line with project methodology.
Contributing to team introspection (for example, via retrospective events).
Ensuring that your knowledge, competency, and experience is effectively shared within the team.
Ensure maintenance and progression of security and Pega-related training and competency in line with processes, standards, and patterns relevant to the Pega technology.
As required, providing support in the production of comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
Where required, lead small streams of work whilst adhering to and influencing processes, standards, and patterns relevant to the Pega technology.
Skills / Experience
Holds Pega Certified Senior System Architect certification, preferably on Pega 8.x,
Has previous experience in multiple projects holding the aforementioned responsibilities,
Has experience with Pega's core supporting tooling such as:
Pega Deployment Manager
Pega Agile Studio
Pega Diagnostic Center (previously Predictive Diagnostic Cloud)
Desirably, has previous experience or training/certification with one or more of:
Pega Process Mining
Pega Customer Service
Pega Marketing
Pega Decisioning
