Data Analyst - Manufacturing

We are recruiting for a highly skilled and self motivating Data Analyst for our manufacturing client based in the Black Country.

THE ROLE:

• To analyse data to anticipate future needs and optimise costs and storage space. Develop inventory control models and parameters. Report to upper management on stock issues and performance. Work with category managers to forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and shortages. To identify changes in trend and implement the best solution. Analyse minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure the correct amount of finished products, raw materials and packaging are being held at the correct site at all times.
• As part of a brand new and exciting role for the company, you will love collating data, inputting and creating charts and presentations of data/trends/finances/stock levels etc
• You will be working for the Commercial Manager and reporting your analysis to the senior management team for the business. 
• As part of this role, you will be heavily involved in their quarterly stock take, which can involves working outside of normal office hours.

THE SUCCESSFUL PERSON:

• Have extensive data analysing experience
• Be proficient in using Dynamics 365 software
• Have excellent ability to collate/input and present trends across a business
• Be self sufficient/able to work on own initiative
• Have previous experience in presenting data to SMT/SLT
• Ideally will have worked in manufacturing/engineering environment ( but not essential)

All training on products will be given, but you must already be able to read and re present data as part of your daily duties, ensuring that total accuracy of data is kept, thereby highlighting any issues to Departmental Managers.
