Application Support Analyst (Payments)

Role: Application Support Analyst (Payments software)

Location: Luton, (2 days in Luton and 3 days working from home after probation)

Salary: £30,000 - 32,000 + a comprehensive range of Employee Benefits

The Role:

  • Provide excellent customer service and End User support to Users of various payments software applications, in a Service Level Agreement environment, (responding to and resolving User problems / issues).
  • Support a variety of user support queries across payments, BACS transfers, general ledger issues etc.
  • Investigate and resolve often complex customer issues that will require technical investigation.
  • Liaise with 3rd part suppliers of hardware and software to support reported faults where required.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Essential:

  • 2+ years' experience working in an Applications support role
  • Some Payments software support experience, (such as SAGE 200, BACS, ICON, Access, Civica Financials, Pay360 etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to diagnose User issues and either resolve directly or escalate accordingly.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  • A basic understanding of SQL.
