We are looking to recruit a Network Engineer for a technology driven public sector organisation.

As a Network Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in my client's Network Team, ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include providing top-tier technical support to both internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the continuous enhancement of my client's ICT services, specialist applications, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a high standard of ICT service delivery.
• Provide expert-level technical support across various network infrastructure components, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and web proxies.
• Utilise your expertise in security principles to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of my client's network systems.
• Offer local supervision and guidance to colleagues when necessary, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance my client's network infrastructure and services.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in routing and switching technologies.
• Extensive experience with enterprise firewalls and VPN solutions.
• Strong understanding of load balancing techniques and web proxies.
• Expertise in implementing remote access solutions and adhering to security best practices.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with Citrix NetScaler/ADC and Zscaler platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMWare and Hyper-V.
• Understanding of Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SDWAN) concepts.
