We are looking to recruit a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer for a leading IT Solutions provider. Working in my client's Professional Services Team you will be responsible for leading on project work related to a range of enterprise software development projects.

About the Role: As a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer you will spearhead a variety of enterprise software development projects. You'll provide technical expertise in On Premises, Public, Hybrid, and Private Cloud environments, ensuring robust and efficient solutions for my client's managed service customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead the design, planning, and execution of infrastructure and cloud projects, taking ownership from discovery to implementation.
• Technical Expertise: Act as the senior infrastructure engineer for specific sites, supporting internal infrastructure and customer environments within SLAs.
• Design and Implementation: Produce High and Low Level Designs, provide technical leadership, and take a hands-on approach to project implementation.
• Service Improvement: Conduct design reviews, enhance processes, and improve existing solutions.
• Pre-Sales Support: Provide technical input for cost-effective delivery of On Premises and Cloud solutions.
• Knowledge Transfer: Mentor and support team members, plan for knowledge transfer, and deliver training as required.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of On Premises, Private, Hybrid, and Public Cloud designs and implementation.
• Proven experience with large infrastructure transformation projects and programmes.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows Server, and Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure solutions.
• Proficient in VMware, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory.
• Strong understanding of Networking, Security, Storage, and Identity Management.
• Experience in deploying solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and PowerShell.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders.
• Highly motivated, organised, and a self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills.
