PHP/Symfony Developer

This is position is home based as long as you are UK based and able to make occasional visit to meet the team in London

This leading multinational software platform company dedicated to delivering innovative and high-quality solutions is looking to recruit an experienced PHP/Symfony to join the development team. 

About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack PHP/Symfony Developer to join the team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of strong PHP development experience with a focus on the Symfony framework. You will be an integral part of the development team, working on exciting projects that push the boundaries of technology and innovation.

Within this varied role you will:

- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and Symfony.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

- Ensure the application meets industry standards and best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

**Required Skills and Experience:**

- At least 3 years of strong PHP development experience with Symfony framework.

- Good understanding of JavaScript and front-end development technologies.

- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
