Senior Test Engineer

A broad engineering skill set needed for this challenging QA role

In this varied role, you will apply your initiative and QA experience to the evaluation of innovative sensor designs, becoming expert in these devices and adept at finding ways to validate and characterise them.

You might typically be involved in developing the mechanical, electronic and software aspects of the test environment, carrying out automated and manual test campaigns and device characterisation, helping to troubleshoot any issues that may arise, and creating and maintaining relevant documentation.

You will need good familiarity with standard electronics test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes etc.), and be confident designing fixtures or jigs, preferably using a CAD package such as SolidWorks. You should also be comfortable working with circuit boards and sensors, and authoring or modifying automated test software.
