This hybrid role requires regular office visits to Uxbridge and Central London, with occasional travel to a data centre in Kent. A full driving license is very desirable.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Technician to join a pioneering company at the forefront of secure services for consumer wearables. This role offers the chance to engage in the maintenance and enhancement of both physical and AWS cloud-based IT systems as well as develop knowledge of certifications / compliance within the fintech industry.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of networking / IT (switches, routers, firewalls etc). This could have come from an apprenticeship, degree or even from personal projects etc.

Key Skills:

• Strong IT background with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High motivation and ability to quickly learn new technologies, especially related to security and compliance.
• Full driving license.

Ideally knowledge of some of the following:

• AWS and physical networking infrastructure knowledge.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Office365, HA Proxy, RabbitMQ, Jenkins, NGINX, OpenVPN, Ansible.
• Experience with Dell Servers, Juniper switches, Juniper and Ubiquiti firewalls.
• Knowledge of various AWS services including EC2, DynamoDB, Route 53, Lambda, CloudFront, and others.
