Business Development Manager

Our client, a growing product and technology consultancy, are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager.

As a rapidly growing consultancy, they operate in both private and public sectors. Their clients are medium to large scale enterprises in industries ranging from education, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, betting and gaming, fintech and utilities.

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging with new client opportunities. You’ll work from initial contact through to closure and handover to their delivery teams.

You will be "hands on", a doer, someone who isn't afraid of picking up the phone and booking in meetings, with a strategy you will have come up with to break further into their markets and with a plan to break into different markets.

Previously, the size of projects that you will have won would be £250k - £1m+.

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in their direct sales efforts, often being the first point of contact for prospective clients. You would be responsible for meeting their shared sales targets and providing business development expertise.
By building strong relationships with both current and future customers, you will ensure that your employer is represented in the best possible light, creating a pipeline of high-quality customer engagements.

This role is perfect for individuals with experience in lead generation, sales, business development, or client engagement from any industry. While experience in technology and consultancy is beneficial, the key attributes my client value most are motivation, tenacity, and a strong commitment to building great relationships.

If you are driven, resilient, and passionate about connecting with clients and helping them achieve their goals, they’d love to talk to you.

They're looking for people who are not only skilled but also eager to contribute to the company's growth and success.

The role is paying £65,000-£75,000/£80,000 basic + a generous commission scheme.

The role is predominantly remote, with most of your time spent meeting clients, however you will be expected to visit the Sheffield office 1-2 times a month for strategy meetings etc.

Please apply immediately to be considered for this role.
