Wintel Engineer - MUST HAVE A VALID SC OR DV CLEARANCE

Are you an experienced Wintel Engineer looking for your next challenge? We're searching for a highly skilled contractor to join our growing team on an exciting new project! This role will start on-site and then move to a remote role within a short time frame.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Build, configure, and maintain Windows Servers (virtual & physical) within VMware environments
• Install and configure Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, SCCM, and related services
• Use automation tools such as Ansible and PowerShell to enhance efficiency
• Provide technical support and capacity management reporting
• Troubleshoot, patch, and upgrade Windows Server systems
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project deadlines
• Attend engineering meetings and change boards

What We're Looking For:

• Strong experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019 & 2022
• Hands-on expertise in VMware deployments and NetApp SAN
• Understanding of SIEM solutions (Splunk), server agents (AV, Tenable, Backups)
• Ability to self-manage, take ownership, and problem-solve autonomously
• Strong communication skills to engage with technical and business teams
• Previous experience working within secure, enterprise-level environments
