Technical Engineering Apprentice

Install, maintain and service bespoke security systems. Working to help protect government buildings from potential eavesdropping attacks. Just a few examples of the incredible work our Engineering team do. They're the people who plan, design and deliver innovation across all corners of the globe. And now, you've got the opportunity to join them.

Role

Keeping people and information safe.

Solving unique problems.

Broadening your horizons.

It all matters.

The projects you could get involved in vary hugely. You might install a sophisticated CCTV system in a new embassy, or deliver enhancements to advanced intruder detection equipment in a volatile region. We might ask you to assist in the prevention and detection of technical eavesdropping attacks, or you could be tasked with helping design and test the next generation of security products. Whatever you do, you’ll be protecting the UK’s interests at home and overseas. Our work is as varied and vital as it gets, but we never lose sight of our people. Their skills, aspirations and growth mean as much as the global mission we're on. In our world, it all matters.

The first year you will spend at a local college full-time. During college breaks, you'll work with our teams on live projects at Hanslope Park, putting what you've learnt into action.

The rest of the apprenticeship will be spent at Hanslope Park, spending time on a programme of placements across the teams.

You may have opportunities to travel overseas.
