My client are seeking an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to join their dedicated technical support and project implementation teams. This is a dual role where you will divide your time evenly between providing expert-level IT support and driving process improvements through projects and automation initiatives.

3rd Level IT Support (50%):

  • Act as the primary escalation point for resolving highly complex technical issues across various platforms
  • Manage high-priority support tickets, ensuring timely resolution through in-depth troubleshooting and analysis
  • Provide expertise as a key member of incident response teams, focused on delivering rapid solutions
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior support staff members

Projects (50%):

  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through process improvements and automation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on planning and executing technology upgrade projects
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining comprehensive internal knowledge base documentation
  • Suggest and implement innovative ideas to streamline workflows and optimize service delivery

Technical Expertise Required:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
  • Proven expertise in virtualisation technologies and Windows Server management
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, Active Directory)
  • Skilled in Microsoft Windows deployment and administration, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
  • Keen interest in continuously expanding technical knowledge and staying updated with industry trends
