Trade Floor Support - Contract - Liverpool Street

Role - Trade Floor support

Duration - 6 months with very likely extension

Rate - £350 p/d (inside IR35)

Location - Liverpool Street, London

  • Supporting the Front Office Trading Desks - ensuring rapid response and end to end support and ownership of user technical and functional issues, across Desktop and Trading applications and covering multiple business-lines.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd Line IT support (including MS Windows, Citrix Receiver, MS Office, line-of-business and limited-scope applications) and desk-side (including laptops and peripherals such as video cameras and auxiliary devices such as telephone handsets and headsets, and mobile phones) environments in Trading floor.
  • Supporting the Front Office Trade Floor/ Treasury desktop environment - investigation of Front Office related issues and resolving or engaging with application owners, infrastructure owners, IT security owners and vendors to provide effective issue and problem management and rapid resolution.
  • Provide English language support to colleagues across EMEA region with awareness of and consideration to differing cultures and/or languages.
  • Managing and developing collaborative relationships with other groups within the IT division, locally and globally.
  • Engage business users for their business requirements.
  • Provide cover to Trading floor IT support contact number, answering calls, creating tickets, and escalating as required.
  • Provide support to walk-up and email requests, dealing with tickets and escalating as required.
  • Administer various IT environment (i.e., PC build and configuration, Application software, SCCM, Printing)
