Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Trust as a Project Manager within Strategy & Transformation Team. You will work alongside Programme Managers and other Project Managers; utilising your skills and experience to help make improvements within the Trust.
Service Transformation is a key objective for the Trust. We therefore require someone who has experience of project management and evidence of successful delivery of transformational schemes. You will be required to support with:
- Opportunity identification through workshops and data benchmarking
- Project scoping
- Stakeholder identification
- Project Management
- Project tracking and escalation
- Reporting

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level and/or project management experience to post graduate diploma level equivalent
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- A project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 or APM)
Experience
- Proven track record of leading service and process change in a complex environment
- Ability to relate to and engage with clinicians and operational staff to inform and implement service improvement
- Experience of inputting to business cases and the evaluation of benefits
- An understanding of the complexities and pace of change in the NHS
Knowledge/ Skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to cope with competing priorities and heavy workloads
- Produce good quality written reports
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Good presentation skills
