Sales Operations Data Analyst

An ideal candidate for this role will be detail-oriented, organized, flexible, handle multiple tasks, and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced work environment. You are part of a dynamic Sales Operations team and have a successful track record working on a wide variety of sales operations functions. This includes sales forecasting and reporting, data validation, maintaining SSOT (Single Source of Truth), partner communication and onboarding.

You will find it a snap to analyze and manipulate data in spreadsheets using advanced spreadsheet functions and formulas (Examples: Lookup & Reference, Pivot tables, Math & Logical). You will have extensive experience working with databases, using SQL queries to pull data, analyzing datasets, identifying data anomalies, conducting root cause analysis, and taking corrective and preventative actions. You are proficient in documenting process steps, maintaining SSOT, creating user guidelines, and enabling business teams to work efficiently. You will be performing repetitive tasks and must be flexible to accommodate fast-paced changes.

Technical Skills Required:
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Proficient in SQL and analyzing data in the form of dashboards/tables.
  • Spreadsheets: Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Spreadsheets.
  • Dashboards: Using SQL queries to create charts and tables in data visualization tools.
  • Collaboration/Communication: Office 365, Chat/Messaging Tools.
  • CRM: Knowledge in Salesforce.com (Salesforce Lightning Version) as a sales operations user.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing project-specific requirements for partner onboarding, sales reporting, demand planning, pricing, and promotions involved in sales operations.
  • Defining data dictionary for various processes and reporting requirements and maintaining Single Source of Truth (SSOT).
  • Working on business reports like partner performance, sales data anomaly, cost-to-serve, sales & marketing spend, and account-specific P&L.
  • Monitoring data pipelines and communicating with engineering teams to resolve any issues with data pipelines.
  • Running SQL queries to pull data from tables and conducting data validation & investigation.
  • Interpreting data presented in the form of tables, charts, and reports and making valid inferences using descriptive statistics and data trend analysis.
  • Using in-house reporting tools to configure, publish and maintain reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Publishing periodic performance reports and providing recommendations to improve the performance of various stakeholders involved in the sales process.
  • Working collaboratively with Account Management, Sales Operations, Finance, Demand Planning, Technology Development, and Engineering Support teams to ensure efficient business processes.
  • Responding to critical production operational issues and following up with application/technical team for resolution.
  • Coordinating with different teams on the integration points and bringing resolution to the problems.
  • Recommending ideas to improve overall process and ensure an efficient workflow.
  • Developing process playbooks and maintaining relevant documentation on all activities and deliverables.
