AEM Architect
As an AEM Architect, you will be responsible for leading the technical design, implementation, and maintenance of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions for our client. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that AEM is effectively utilized to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for AEM-based projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
- Design and implement robust AEM architectures, considering scalability, performance, and security requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architectural blueprints, design patterns, and standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend AEM features and functionalities to meet project goals.
- Design and implement AEM integrations with other systems (eg, CRM, marketing automation, analytics).
- Oversee the implementation of AEM solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AEM-related issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of AEM infrastructure and processes.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in AEM technologies and best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong AEM architect (12+ years) experience in large digital transformation programs:
- Good experience in migrating a large number of sites and date from Legacy (Sitefinity/other CMS) to AEM.
- Strong hands-on experience in AEM as a Cloud service, Dynamic media.
- Strong proficiency in AEM development, including CQ5, AEM 6.x, and AEM 6.5+.
- Deep understanding of AEM architecture, components, and workflows.
- Experience with AEM authoring, publishing, and replication processes.
- Expertise in Java, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
- Familiarity with content modelling, tagging, and metadata management.
- Knowledge of web content management systems and digital asset management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
