Technical Author (Storage) - 6 months - Inside IR35 - Hybrid

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a skilled Dell Storage Technical Author to join a global bank on a 6 month contract with potential extension for over 12 months.

This role will be based at our client's London office, with an onsite requirement of 3 days per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation to support a critical Dell Storage programme for a global bank.

Key Responsilbites:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, configuration guides, troubleshooting manuals, and technical notes for Dell Storage products.
• Ensure documentation meets quality standards and is user-friendly.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) such as engineers, product managers, and support teams to gather necessary information and ensure documentation accuracy.

What you Will Ideally Bring:

• Excellent technical authoring skills
• Strong understanding of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, RAID configurations, and storage networking.
• Dell EMC Unity/Dell EMC PowerStore/Dell EMC PowerMax/Dell EMC VMAX/Dell EMC VxRail/Dell EMC XtremIO/Dell EMC PowerProtect/Dell EMC ProtectPoint
• Experience in creating various types of technical documentation, such as user manuals, installation guides, configuration guides, and troubleshooting guides.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months
• Location: London 3x Per Week/Remote
• Day Rate: Up to £400 Per Day (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: ASAP
