Your new company
Hays are working with a leading HR/payroll solutions organisation to recruit an exciting permanent role in their IT directorate. This is a Principal Cloud Architect, salary up to £85,000pa and can be predominantly remote. Some travel to offices may be required on ad hoc basis. Your new role
In the role you will be responsible for high level architecture & design across the cloud estate (Microsoft Azure) and help develop and build best practice architectural foundations. You'll support with wider long term strategic decisions and will advise, direct and govern technical teams from a cloud architecture/design perspective. You will have elements of hands on implementation working closely with Cloud/DevOps/Software Engineering teams.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must have experienced leading cloud architecture & strategy ideally in a SaaS environment.
You'll be an experienced cloud architect (azure preferred) with exposure operating at enterprise level as well as working with software teams on cloud implementations. You'll be experienced in building software products in an agile environment and be familiar with DevOps principals. You'll need good hands on technical experience as well as the ability to work strategically with key stakeholders across the directorate and organisation.
