Payroll administrator apprentice

We a looking to take on a payroll administrator who will be managing a portfolio of payroll clients completing the payroll on behalf of our clients from start to finish, including workplace pension administration. Completing a level 3 payroll administrator apprenticeship along side smart training and recruitment.

Role

  • End to End Payroll processing
  • Liaising with managers and team members with payroll enquiries and reporting.
  • Assisting payroll seniors with data entry on large payroll clients.
  • Dealing with employee enquiries regarding pay on behalf of our clients.
  • Communicating with clients directly via email and telephone regarding their payroll and employees.
  • Maintaining files, records and department database.
  • Tasks on spreadsheets/word documents to complete for analysis.

Training

Training to be provided by experienced payroll manager whilst working on the job.

Onsite training will be given which will reflect the level 3 apprenticeship.

Candidate will be expected to undertake the Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship Standard (Level 3) Course.

Progression to Payroll Senior and more complex portfolios of payroll clients and work including setting up new payroll clients and bacs payments.

Working Week
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Flexible on start and finishing time around candidate to be agreed. Can start between 7.30am and 9.30am.
