About Us

We are a currently partnered with a financial services firm located in the vibrant West End of London, who are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support, ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations across the firm. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and network infrastructure.
  • Assist with IT projects, including upgrades, deployments, and system improvements.
  • Document support requests, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper documentation.
  • Lead the wider IT team to deliver seamless support and service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a 1st and 2nd line IT support role, ideally within a financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
