We have a new and exclusive opportunity for a Product Owner/ Business Analyst to take ownership of business commodities applications. We currently use Sophis and are moving to Murex and you will be a key part of this change

This role is for a Lead for Booking & Post Trade for the Commodities IT team in London (Permanent).

You need will to bring your Murex Development and Business Analyst skills and you will be working closely with both IT Teams and business stakeholders

You will also have a key voice in managing the Backlog (prioritization for Sophis and Murex)and engage senior stakeholders

What is interesting on this role is you will have a key role in leading on Strategic and interim solution proposals

Your role day to day will include:-

Provide the business with software applications:

• Make recommendations regarding booking models, product onboarding and modelling into Murex
• Analysis, problem solving and escalation
• Work closely with GMC Quants, MOA, MOE and other relevant teams
• Carry out training and skills assessments at regular intervals for peers
• Follow the branch compliance rules

Propose new projects to the business, take lead of new initiatives, covering notably:

• Innovative solutions for regulatory reporting / monitoring
• New business, activities and products
• Opportunities for efficiency improvements
• Operational risk reduction
• New platforms for trading and associated front to back design

Role requirements for the role

• Strong experience working with Murex as a BA/Dev
• Ability to navigate through Murex, booking models and setting up new products
• Good understanding of the Murex architecture to be able to propose interim and strategic solutions
• Good understanding of Curve setup and static data setup in MXG
• Good understanding of PnL, risk and valuations within Murex
