Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Brand new Bristol based role for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a well established Engineering company.   I am seeking a seasoned Senior Embedded Software Engineer with 5 years or more experience in embedded C/ C++ programming.  The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for Firmware Design and Development of existing and new products, design and development of interface and communication systems, testing, bug fixing etc.

In addition to solid Embedded expertise you will need knowledge of real time operating systems, ARM architecture, a scripting language like python, multithreaded expertise,  knowledge of communication interfaces and protocols - I2C,SPI,CAN etc, experience using tools such as the oscilloscope, logic analyser and multimeter.  Some electronics / Systems Engineering expertise would also be ideal.

Super Senior level role within a small team enabling plenty of responsibility.
