Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Architect with a strong background in Engineering applications across CAD and PDM /PLM to join our global client.

This is a pivotal role to continue drive their engineering applications forward and play integral role in the implementation of new systems. This is a newly created role working closely with Solutions Architect in the IT division to ensure the implementation and integration of new engineering applications across the business globally with an emphasis around data migration. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver product data quality improvements in CAD and PDM/PLM.
• Review, define, and maintain product data standards for CAD, PDM/PLM.
• Measure AS IS product data quality and implement plans to address improvements.
• Prioritise data improvements according to business needs and risks.
• Audit CAD files and the contents of the PDM vault, reporting non-conformances and corrective/preventive actions.
• Support operating companies in preparing their product data ahead of migrations into the common global PDM platform.
• Generate and publish data quality reports as requested by the management team.
• Ensure data is fit for purpose to integrate into the new PLM PDM CAD architecture.

  
What experience do you need?
  

• Knowledge of part-centric product data management best practices.
• Experience using and improving product data to provide business benefits.
• Proficient in data analysis, cleansing, and using ETL tools.
• Prior involvement in CAD PDM PLM deployment/improvement projects.
• Experience in product development within a global engineering organisation.
• Exposure to mCAD, eCAD, and Software Development disciplines.
